Italpollina, a world leader in organic fertilizers, biostimulants and beneficial microorganisms, planned a new production facility at its U.S. headquarters.
Architect Kevin Montgomery of krM Architecture selected the Hollaender Interna-Rail® KLEAR railing for the entrance lobby and mezzanine. KLEAR is a new railing design from Hollaender that maximizes the transparency of the glass railing by eliminating a top rail, thus allowing the glass itself to fulfill the railing dimensional requirement of 42 inches in height.
A glass wall feature was added to the side of the railing to add both depth and height. This created a very interesting architectural feature.
