The Highlander Accelerator is a new community building aimed at servicing the newly developed Highlander community in North Omaha, Nebraska.
Due to the different levels of the building, several sets of ADA compliant handrail were required for accessibility. LED pods were installed in about 25% of handrails.
With the LED pods spaced every 2 feet on the underside of the handrail, lighting was provided that met all requirements.
Hollaender’s Stainless Steel ADA compliant post mounted handrail was ideal for this project, as was the LED pod lighting system.
